  • Course Description:
    ENC 0015 is a college preparatory writing course which addresses sentence and paragraph development using standard edited AmericanEnglish. Lab required. Special fee. 4 credits.
  • Prerequisites:
    Placement by either Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) verbal subtest score; American College Testing (ACT) English subtest score; FCAT writing subtest score; or P.E.R.T. English subtest score.

ENC 0025 - College Preparatory Writing 2

  • Course Description:
    ENC 0025 is a college preparatory writing course which addresses sentence, paragraph, and essay development using standard edited American English. Lab required. Special fee. 4 credits.
  • Prerequisites:
    Placement by Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) verbal subtest score; American College Testing (ACT) English subtest score; FCAT English subtest score; P.E.R.T. English subtest score; or successful completion of ENC 0015.

REA 0007 - College Preparatory Reading 1

  • Course Description:
    REA 0007 is a college preparatory reading course which builds vocabulary skills, literal and critical comprehension skills, and successful reading strategies. Lab assignments required. Special fee. 4 credits.
  • Prerequisites:
    Placement by either Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) verbal subtest score; American College Testing (ACT) Reading subtest score; FCAT reading subtest score; College Entrance Exam Reading subtest score.

REA 0017 - College Preparatory Reading 2

  • Course Description:
    REA 0017 is a college preparatory course that builds vocabulary skills, literal and critical comprehension skills, and successful reading strategies. Lab assignments required. Special fee. 4 credits.
  • Prerequisites:
    Placement by either Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) verbal subtest score; American College Testing (ACT) Reading subtest score; FCAT reading subtest score; College Entrance Exam Reading subtest score or successful completion of REA0007 with an “S” grade.
