CLEP
- College-Level Examination Program
The College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) offers
the opportunity to earn college credit by taking and passing one
or more of the available CLEP exams.
Registration packets with exam descriptions and
scoring policies are available in the Testing Department (Room
5213). Prior to taking the test, a completed registration form
and a check or money order for $15.00 per test (payable to
Miami-Dade College) must be submitted to the Testing Department.
MDC checks are non-refundable and non-transferable. On the day of
the exam, you pay $60.00 to CLEP with a credit card (preferable), check
or money order.
All interested students are encouraged to see
an Academic Advisor before registering for the examinations.
Although close to 3,000 nation-wide colleges and universities
accept credits earned through CLEP, many do not, or they require
a different level of competency.
