| CLEP - College-Level Examination Program |

The College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) offers the opportunity to earn college credit by taking and passing one or more of the available CLEP exams. |

| Registration packets with exam descriptions and scoring policies are available in the Testing Department (Building 1, Room 1303). Prior to taking the test, a completed registration form and a check or money order for $35.00 per test (payable to Miami Dade College) must be submitted to the Testing Department. MDC checks are non-refundable and non-transferable. You will also pay $77.00 to CLEP with a credit card (preferable), check or money order. |

| All interested students are encouraged to see an Academic Advisor before registering for the examinations. Although close to 3,000 nation-wide colleges and universities accept credits earned through CLEP, many do not, or they require a different level of competency. |
