How are the CPT/PERT scores reported to the State?
- Postsecondary institutions include the CPT/PERT scores in the SB1908 data file they send to the State each June. The Miami Dade College file includes testing completed through May 31. The State supplements the SB1908 data with any CPT results reported on transcript records for Bright Futures scholarship qualifying (reported to the Department by school districts using the Florida Automated System for Transferring Educational Records [FASTER]). Note: PERT scores cannot be used for Bright Futures eligibility until the final cut scores are established in State Board rule. At that time, the PERT will only be applicable for Gold Seal eligibility.
