Planning, Policy and Analysis

Planning, Policy and Analysis (PPA) provides ongoing, integrated, and evidence-based support for College-wide strategic planning and policy analysis related to institutional effectiveness and student success.

Mission

As part of Institutional Effectiveness at Miami Dade College, the Office of Planning, Policy and Analysis provides ongoing, integrated, and evidence-based support for College-wide strategic planning and policy analysis related to institutional effectiveness and student success.

Core Functions

  • Coordinates College-wide strategic planning activities and monitors progress on strategic goals.
  • Analyzes potential impacts of local, state, and federal policies and trends related to institutional effectiveness and student success to inform decision-making.
  • Assists in the measurement, reporting, evaluation, and monitoring of institutional effectiveness activities.
  • In partnership with the Office of Institutional Research, provides expert analytical support in the collection and use of evidence for the development, implementation, and improvement of grant programs, special initiatives, and other College activities.
