HIV can affect anyone.

  • More than a million people in the U.S. are living with HIV
  • Approximately 50,000 Americans become infected with HIV every year
  • 1 in 5 people living with HIV don’t know they have it
  • People who know they have HIV are more likely to use protection and less likely to infect others
  • Finding out your HIV status early can help you live a longer, healthier life

Do your part by educating yourself and talking about HIV with your friends, families and loved ones. Help us prevent HIV by always protecting yourself, getting tested, and getting treatment, if needed.
