Athletics CollageMiami Dade College recognizes that intercollegiate athletics and athletic competition for talented students is an integral part of the overall educational process and mission of the college. The intercollegiate athletic program at Miami Dade College strives to enrich the lives of participants by providing quality coaching, facilities, and support services, with equal treatment and resources available to all participants, regardless of race, gender, religion, marital status, age, national origin, handicap or financial resources.

Miami Dade College is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and the Florida Community College Activities Association’s (FCCAA) Southern Conference.

Teams from Miami Dade’s combined campuses have won numerous state and national championships since 1961. In 1997, the athletic programs at the school’s three main campus sites were combined into a single intercollegiate athletic program to represent the entire Miami Dade College system.
