Taking a philosophical look at complex issues, Kendall Campus’ Studio Theater recently presented Doubt: A Parable. Set in the Bronx, John Patrick Shanley’s play explores the tension that occurs when a nun has grave concerns about the relationship between a parish priest and a student.

Meanwhile, MDC's New World School of the Arts is celebrating the acclaim of Class of ’09 graduates David Sirois and Aubrey Shavonn, who were Miami New Times “Best of Miami 2011” winners. Sirois’ Brothers Beckett was chosen as ”Best New Play.“ Shavonn, named ”Best Supporting Actress,“ burst onto the local theater scene with her performance in Rogelio Martínez’s Fizz.
