Making Democracy Count

Thousands of students from eight Miami Dade College campuses gathered in Downtown Miami for a collegewide voter education rally to highlight the importance of voting. The College’s Making Democracy Count rally offered streamlined, on-site voter registration through TurboVote, a new service recently made available at only three colleges in the country.

Coinciding with Constitution Day, the event also featured live entertainment, exciting guest speakers and many opportunities for students to share their enthusiasm for the democratic process.
