 MIFF honors the mastery of the distinguished directors featured during the last quarter century of the Festival's existence. Throughoutt its history, MIFF has hosted a diverse group of filmmakers including Liv Ulmann, Marion Hansel, Wim Wenders, Pedro Almodovar, Luc Besson Margarethe von Trotta, Spike Lee and Agniezka Holland. The only thing more artistic than the directors themselves is their unique contribution to the world of film.
