Description

 

The Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) Certificate includes theory, flight, and lab instruction. The program meets all FAA requirements for a CFI. In addition to the FAA requirements, each student will learn to develop lesson plans and how to communicate effectively using a variety of instructional materials and feedback techniques. Students wishing to enroll in this course must possess a Commercial Pilot's Certificate.

Benefits: Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to demonstrate knowledge of private and commercial pilot certification; demonstrate knowledge of fundamentals of instruction in a single-engine airplane; demonstrate the ability to recognize, analyze, and provide correction of common student errors; and demonstrate knowledge of the responsibilties of Certified Flight Instructors, according to the FAA.
