This 16-hour course is designed to help officers prepare for and prevail during violent encounters. This realistic training course will prepare officers to immediately identify and react to violent armed confrontations encountered on the streets. Using lecture, force on force training, and live fire exercises under high physical and psychological stress, participants will be given the tools to tactically react under fire and survive these life-ending encounters.

This is a very physically demanding class and all students should bring all duty weapons, body armor and a hydration system.

Areas to be covered include: Strong/support hand shooting and reloading drills; Moving and shooting to cover drills; Shooting to and from a vehicle; Defensive tactics drills; Close quarter attack scenarios; Force on Force SIM training; and Shooting from various cover positions.

This training can be applied to Mandatory Training.
