- Discipline chairs and conveners compile feedback and discussion comments from 8/27 and report them to lead discipline Dean and chairs for distribution to faculty
- Disciplines encourage adjunct faculty to begin developing course strategies for reinforcing the Learning Outcomes
- Curriculum mapping workshop by Dr. Peggy Maki, external consultant, for Chairs and Discipline Conveners (Sept. 28)
October 2007
- Current Assessment Tasks and rubrics 1 and 2 modified and new ones developed by Learning Outcomes Assessment Team
- Students and course sections for Fall administration of Assessment Tasks identified and communicated to the faculty involved
- Disciplines internally identify and communicate ways to incorporate and assess Learning Outcomes in their courses for full-time and adjunct faculty
- Processes for curriculum mapping established
November-December 2007
- Assessment Tasks 1 and 2 and the Computer Skills Placement Test administered to identified course sections
- Faculty incorporate Learning Outcomes into syllabi for Spring Term 2008
- Syllabus template developed within departments for adjunct faculty
- Beginning of a phased implementation process of discipline curriculum mapping (November-April), including Conference Day
January 2008
- Assessment Tasks scored from Fall administration by Learning Outcomes Assessment Team
- Current Assessment Tasks 3, 4, and 5 and rubrics modified and new ones developed by Learning Outcomes Assessment Team
- Students and course sections for Spring administration of Assessment Tasks identified and communicated to the faculty involved
February 2008
- Results of CSP and Assessment Tasks 1 and 2 communicated to disciplines
- Learning Outcomes Assessment Team continues work on Assessment Tasks 3, 4, and 5
March-April 2008
- Assessment Tasks 3, 4, and 5 administered to identified course sections
- Conference Day discussion about curriculum mapping within disciplines and results of Assessment Tasks1 and 2 administration
May-June 2008
- Assessment Tasks 3, 4, and 5 scored from Spring administration by Learning Outcomes Assessment Team
- Results of Assessment Tasks 3, 4, and 5 reported to the disciplines
- Discipline discussions and suggestions for future assessments
- Annual Discipline Reports contain status of Learning Outcomes integration into course content and progress toward curriculum mapping
