Season Fun

Miami Dade College brought back two annual staples in the community at the Kendall and North campuses.

The Kendall Campus celebrated its Fall Campus Fest with a Golf Tournament, Latin Jazz Concert and the Carnival for Kids of All Ages. The Third Annual Latin Jazz Festival featured renowned jazz artists Arturo Sandoval, Néstor Torres, Albita, Roberto Perera and Ed Calle, among others. All three events helped raise much-needed dollars for scholarships.

The North Campus transformed its tropical scenery into a winter wonderland during their celebration of the holiday season. The free event for the entire family featured a holiday village with snow, live music and performances, arts and crafts, games, exhibits, food and story time with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
