MDC’s North Campus once again delighted thousands with its annual Children’s Holiday at North. Approximately 30,000 people attended the event, which featured a Holiday Snow Village with a 12-foot mountain of snow that children could slide down. Live performances on three stages included a Polynesian revue with hula fire dancers, Hip Hop Kidz, the South Florida Youth Symphony, belly dancers, Miami Classic Ballet, music and much more, including participation of more than 600 student performers from Miami-Dade County Public Schools. And, of course, kids visited with Santa and left their wish lists in his mailbox.
