Fed Board Taps Montoya

Dr. Rolando Montoya
MDC Provost Dr. Rolando Montoya has been appointed to the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta's Miami branch.

MDC Provost Dr. Rolando Montoya has been appointed to a two-year post on the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta’s Miami branch.

Among his responsibilities, Montoya will provide economic information from local industries and the branch territory to the district bank’s president and head officers, who will formulate monetary policy.

Montoya serves on several prominent boards, including Miami Downtown Development Authority, South Florida Workforce Investment Board, New World School of the Arts at MDC, South Florida Center for Financial Training at MDC and Disney College Program.
