Miami Dade College recently inducted another impressive group of alumni into its Hall of Fame gala celebration held at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami. These graduates have attained notable success in their fields and made impactful contributions to their communities along the way. In addition to recognizing their achievements, this Hall of Fame event also helped raise substantial scholarship funds for MDC students. Past inductees for this prestigious honor include actor Andy Garcia, music industry mogul Emilio Estefan, Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Nilo Cruz, former Dolphins wide receiver Nat Moore and U.S. Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, among other distinguished leaders across the country.
Miami Dade College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate and baccalaureate degrees.
