Serving Those Who Serve

The Idea Center at MDC has launched a new initiative aimed at veterans in the community who have an existing business or idea. Offered in partnership with the Military and Veterans Services Department at Miami Dade College, Operation Startup is a 12-week program that develops entrepreneurial skills, provides technical assistance and offers advice on seed funding opportunities for returning vets to successfully launch their own ventures. Guest speakers, mentors and other veteran entrepreneurs also share their experience in launching a venture.
