Past CI Programming for K-12 Educators
To further Miami Dade College’s mission of “changing lives through the enriching opportunities of higher education,” the Confucius Institute holds conferences and professional development programs that engage American and Chinese educators with the work of their counterparts. These events enable the exchange of ideas between the two groups as well as intellectual engagement that encourages mutual exploration. These events create a venue for educators to be exposed to cross-cultural perspectives while simultaneously staying up-to-date in the best-practices of their fields.
