Accreditation is granted by the American Veterinary Medical Association’s Committee on Veterinary technician Education and Activities (CVTEA) it requires that the program have graduates who are certified and working in the field. The program was granted provisional accreditation in February 2003, as the program had just begun and graduates were pending. The commitee will return in 2008.
