Transient Students
Students attending other institutions are welcome to take classes at Miami Dade College while they are home for the summer or any other time. Since these students plan to transfer classes from Miami Dade College back to their home institution, they are classified as “transients” by the state of Florida.
If you wish to register for classes as a transient student, you will need to talk to an advisor from your home institution who will help you complete a transient student eligibility form. Students at Florida state institutions can complete the form online by accessing facts.org.
