      Miami Dade College offers an excellent education in a wide range of subjects.  The Florida International University Southern Strike Battalion is the host program that enables Miami Dade College to offer Army ROTC to interested and qualified students.  Since the Spring 2003 term MDC students have been able to enroll in Army ROTC conducted at the MDC Kendall and North Campuses.  Enrolling in Army ROTC at MDC will give you the necessary prerequisites which may allow you to enroll in the senior level Army ROTC program at either FIU, UM, FAU, Barry University or Florida Memorial University.

    NOTE:  There is NO MILITARY SERVICE OBLIGATION for non-scholarship students enrolled in the Basic Army ROTC program at Miami Dade College.

    Qualified graduating sophomores may still enteC Leader's Training Course (.  Call for more information.
