The role of the Academic Affairs Division at Kendall Campus is to oversee all academic operations of the campus and it is directed by the Dean of Academic Affairs. The goal of the Division is to provide students with opportunities to expand their knowledge, enrich their lives, prepare for successful careers and contribute to our community. This goal will be achieved by providing students with excellent instruction and outstanding opportunities facilitated by an excellent faculty, along with high-tech labs and other state-of-the-art learning resources.

Academic Affairs also oversees that all requirements from State, Federal and other independent accrediting agencies are met; to insure that all offerings in the various degree programs meet the highest standards in our nation's educational system.

The College's Mission Statement declares, "The mission of Miami Dade College is to provide accessible, affordable, high-quality education by keeping the learner's needs at the center of the decision-making and working in partnership with its dynamic multicultural community."
