GIBSON
CENTER
The
Gibson Center was constructed in 1973. It was designed as a state-of-the-art
facility at that time, and today remains a Kendall area landmark.
The building houses several classrooms, administrative offices,
the Wellness Center, aerobics room, dance studio and a multi-functional
athletic arena.
The Athletic arena consists of two basketball courts with one collegiate sized
main court. The courts are also designed for volleyball as well as badminton.
The seating capacity is 3,200.
Additionally, the Gymnasium has been used for concerts, gymnastics competitions,
graduations, karate tournaments, table tennis, Badminton, meetings, seminars,
conferences, ballroom dances and much more.
