Technology Purchase Requests
In an effort to streamline the process of purchasing technology and ensure faster authorizations, all technology requests should be initiated by contacting the Technical Support line at 305-237-2620. This should be your department’s first step for acquisition of all technology and technology related products related products, (hardware, software, peripherals, and audio/visual). The technical support staff has been instructed to process your request for technology/media purchases and provide you with a tracking number for future reference. A representative will be assigned to your request and assist you with product selection, and provide instructions for placing an order. For your convenience, a list of campus standard technology products will be provided.
Please remember, college procedure requires CCIO authorization for purchases of all technology products. If you would like more information on this process please contact Technical Support at 305-237-2620.
Each department is responsible for funding the purchase of new hardware such as, computers for new employees, office printers, scanners, and nonstandard software . All technology purchase requisitions initiated at the Kendall campus must have “LK” in the “Type” field.
Kendall Campus has standardized on specific vendors for hardware/software purchases. Setting standards for technology purchases provides the students, faculty, and staff with many benefits.
