Mission Statement

The Financial Aid Office at Miami Dade College assists students in pursuing and reaching their educational goals by providing access to various federal, state, institutional and private donor funding.  In support of the College's mission and vision, the Financial Aid Office is committed to providing quality service and reliable consumer information, by educating our students, their families and the community about the Financial Aid process.

  • Learn the Basics – Start here to learn what you need to know about available programs, costs, and rights and responsibilities.
  • Apply for Aid – Know the basics? Then you are ready to get started on your applications. Here, you'll learn about the process of applying for financial aid, including but not limited to grants, work programs, and loans – while meeting deadlines.
  • Estimate your awards - You've learned the basics and have applied for aid, now try estimating your award. Use our new award calculator to project the amount and types of financial aid you could receive based on your specifications.
  • Receive Funds – When your aid is ready, how will you receive it? In this section, you'll learn how to get the money you need to pay for your education.
