Registration and Paying for the Exam

The information listed below applies only to those candidates that are completing the exam at Miami Dade College, North campus. If you are completing the exam elsewhere, please contact that individual test site to obtain applicable information.

FBAT at the Miami Dade College, North campus is on a walk-in basis. Just pay for your exam at the bursar’s office (room 1154) and show up to the testing site (room 9108) with a government issued photo ID and you will be admitted to test. Be sure to arrive half hour before the test begins so that you can ensure to get a seat. Late arrivals may be turned away.

Once you have completed your test, you are encouraged to attend a School of Justice, candidate orientation held every Tuesday at 6:00 PM. The address is 11380 NW 27 Avenue, Miami, FL 33167. The candidate orientation is conducted in Building 8, Room 8333. During orientation, you will be given an overview of the entire application process and is mandatory if you wish to enroll in basic training at the School of Justice. To register for orientation please call 305-237-1400.

Attention: In order to be admitted to the candidate orientation, you must be on time, dressed in business attire, bring a picture ID, black pen and a writing pad. You do not need an appointment to attend orientation.
