Admission to the Program

To be admitted to the Public Safety Management program, you must:

Complete the MDC application if you are not currently an MDC student.
Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.

And

Have earned an Associate in Science, Associate of Applied Science or Associate in Arts degree from a regionally accredited institution

Or

Have completed a minimum of 60 semester hours from a regionally accredited institution. These credits must include 45 credits applicable to the program curriculum, including ENC 1101 or its equivalent.

Miami Dade College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate and baccalaureate degrees.
