  Environmental Studies

Welcome to the web site for Environmental Studies. The Environmental Studies program is a newly revamped Associate in Arts degree (program code 10203). This effort to update the degree program was made possible by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education under the College Cost Reduction and Access Act (CCRAA). This grant, partnering Miami Dade College North Campus with the University of Puerto Rico at Río Piedras, is titled Project PUENTES.

Please scroll through the menu on the left to learn more about the many opportunities in Environmental Studies and Project PUENTES, including research and scholarship opportunities.

Feel free to contact the Project PUENTES team with any questions. We’re here to put “Students First.”
