Miami-Dade College, North Campus is an approved United states Coast Guard training site.  All courses comply with appropriate United States Coast Guard (USCG), International Maritime Organization (IMO) and Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping convention (STCW) regulations.  We offer courses at the North Campus at the School of Fire and Environmental Sciences.  Training can be done at our location or yours if the need arises.

Our professionally-trained staff are certified to teach courses such as:
  • Combined Basic/Advanced Shipboard Firefighting
  • Emergency Marine Response
  • Tankerman Operations
  • Hazardous Waste Site Operations (OSHA and EPA certified)
  • Marine Pollution Booming Procedures
  • Emergency Response to Hazardous Incidents (EPA)
  • Incident Command Management System
  • and many others
