Community Event at West Campus:
The YoungBiz workshop series kickoff took place Saturday, September 30th.The workshops attracted high school and middle school students interested in how to convert their hobbies, skills, and interests into money making ventures. Juan Carlos Bermudez, Major of the City of Doral addressed parents and students. Mr. Gunther Freystetter, President of the Rotary Club, Sandra Ruiz , City of Doral Councilwoman, and Juan Casimiro, Executive Vice President , Young Biz International were also in attendance.

New Student Orientation:
The New Student Orientation took place on August 12, 2006. West Campus welcomed new students for our first Summer Term 2005-3/4. The Students participated in workshops for Financial Aid and Career Services and later, were advised and registered for classes.

Open House:
The West Campus First Open House was Saturday June 10th, 2006. Students had a chance to meet faculty and staff, learn about prospective majors, and had an opportunity to tour the campus.
