MDC Cares is providing assistance in a number of ways through a new funding program from the U.S. Department of Education, designed to offset some of the financial difficulties brought about by the coronavirus pandemic. Whether you're a new or current student, enrolled in a multi-year degree program, or just looking for additional credentials to improve your current job skills, you can benefit from scholarships, grants, stipends and other opportunities for financial support.

Important Note: Fall 2020 courses will appear in Blackboard at 12:01 a.m. ET on 09/01/2020.

  • If you are a brand-new MDC student or if you have been inactive for more than one term, you will not be able to log into Blackboard until 09/01/2020.
  • Be sure to set up your MDC Student Account before classes start.
  • If you need to reset or retrieve your MDC Account information, visit the Password Manager.

Requests for 3rd and 4th Attempts - Fall 2020

As MDC continues Remote Learning, the SMART Action Plan process is suspended.

  • Throughout this period, an Academic Department Chairperson will provide guidance to students regarding the successful completion of 3rd and 4th attempts.
  • The Department Chairperson will also review and register students into an open section.

Fee Waiver Forms

Fall Book Advance (financial aid) is available on the Bookstore website through September 7, 2020 as a payment option

  • Students should refer to the MDC Bookstore to find the bookstore website for each campus for the respective textbook and course materials information
  • Any digital material will be sent to students via email.
  • Hard copies will be delivered via FedEx or UPS.
  • A message will be placed on the bookstore website explaining the delivery method available.
