The School of Business at Miami Dade College attains local and national recognition of excellence due to its various innovative programs and activities that allow our students to excel in their chosen fields of interest. Scholarships are available to outstanding Business students during the academic year and are provided by many local individuals and organizations.
On February 24, 1996, three Brothers to the Rescue aircrafts were conducting a search and rescue mission over international waters between Florida and Cuba when Cuban Air Force jets shot down two of the planes. The scholarship was created by the four families of the fallen men.
