Child Care Training

Caring for and educating children during the early learning years is a vital job in our communities. Miami Dade College is an approved training provider for the Department of Children and Families. Our courses are taught by experienced practitioners in early childhood education, who will provide you with practical knowledge and critical learning to become a child care provider.

Child Care In-Service and CEUs

Continue your professional development and expand your career in early child care. Students have the opportunity to pursue certifications and earn CEUs through coursework in early childhood education. Our staff and experienced instructors are here to support you in your professional development.

Making the Most of Classroom Interactions (Preschool)

Participants will learn to recognize the impact that good and positive teachers’ interactions have on the development and learning of children. Participants will also learn to define and identify positive teachers’ interactions as described by the CLASS Observation tool.
