ATTENTION: Please monitor this webpage regularly for updates on availability of exams and services!

All exams at MDC administered at the Testing and Assessment Departments have been cancelled through May 10, 2020.  This date will be re-evaluated periodically.  Examinees who registered to take an exam at an MDC test center through an external agency should be notified by the agency.  Please visit the agency website for instructions on re-scheduling a cancelled exam. 

At this time, the following tests are eligible to be requested through MDC's Remote Testing process: ACCUPLACER ESL, ACCUPLACER NEXT-GENERATION, PERT, CART and CSP. All Remote Testing Fees processed by the Testing and Assessment Department are waived through Spring 2020; this includes Examity and ProctorU fees.

At this time, the following tests and services are not available from an MDC Testing and Assessment Department.
Tests: CASAS, Childcare, CLEP, DSST, FTCE, GKT, iCBE, and TABE.
Services: Proctoring for other institutions, agencies , certification boards, employers, and organizations, such as ACT, College Board, Pearson VUE and PSI.

West Testing

The West Testing Center provides placement and assessment services for Miami Dade College students, administrators, faculty, and the community at large. Our services include, but are not limited to, placement tests, prior learning assessments, virtual college proctored tests, high stakes exams, Pearson VUE assessments, certification testing and proctoring services for non-MDC assessments. The center also works with campus faculty to provide facility use and proctoring assistance with classroom/program assessments.

Testing Center Facilities

The West Testing Center is comprised of three testing rooms (two testing labs and a private room for special accommodations) with a total of 61 stations, which can be used for computerized testing and/or paper-pencil testing. The Center accommodates ACCESS testing for most examinations.
