Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC)
The Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC), is an industry-led training, assessment, and certification organization focused on the core technical competencies needed by the nation’s frontline production and material handling workers.
MSSC assessments at MDC are offered to:
- Military personnel
- Students that are part of the Training for Manufactured Construction (TRAMCON) Program with the School of Continuing Education & Professional Development. MSSC - Certified Production Technician (CPT) is the program of study selected for these students, to grant certificates to individuals who pass any of the following Production Modules:
- Safety Module
- Quality Practices & Measurement
- Manufacturing Processes & Production
- Maintenance Awareness

Request a remote test. Examinees must be checked-in and seated by the time scheduled in order to begin the test. Examinees will then have adequate time to finish the test in a reasonable period or within the Hours of Operation.
