About the Program

The Next Tech Generation program provides high school students graduating in 2021 with free tuition, a book stipend and industry certification support for online technology summer classes. The goal is to prepare students to fill the growing demand for the next generation of technology professionals in Miami. Students can select courses in Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Data Analysis, Programming, IT or Internet of Things.

The Next Tech Generation program courses will take place during the second six-week summer session, from June 21st to August 2nd.

Cybersecurity

Students will learn to install and configure systems to secure applications, networks, and devices; perform threat analysis and respond with appropriate mitigation techniques. Coverage includes preparation for the CompTIA Security+ certification.
