Financial Matters
The School of Business at Miami Dade College attains local and national recognition of excellence due to its various innovative programs and activities that allows our students to excel in their chosen fields of interest. We strive to help our students succeed by identifying their needs and interests and being responsive to those needs in an instructional setting.
The School of Business attracts students from throughout Florida and from every state and many foreign countries. We provide an academic setting rich with cultural diversity.
Scholarships are available to outstanding Business students during the academic year and are provided by many local individuals and organizations.
The Alvin Randolph Memorial Scholarship
Available to Miami Dade College Students at North Campus and the Carrie P. Meek Entrepreneurial Education Center, the Alvin Randolph Memorial Scholarship Endowment Fund provides academic opportunity to first-generation entrepreneurship and business students.
NBA star Al Jefferson created the endowment fund to memorialize his late father and help motivated, deserving students.
To qualify for this scholarship opportunity, students must:
- be accepted for admission or be officially enrolled in the college's business or entrepreneurship programs
- be U.S. citizens or permanent residents
- demonstrate financial need
- have at least a 2.5 GPA
- Apply by the deadline, March 1st
