Using Publisher and Third Party Products
Many MDC Online courses require students to purchase web-based learning materials to accompany their textbooks. These materials can be delivered through Canvas in a variety of ways:
- A course cartridge that is uploaded into a Canvas course to incorporate content, graded activities, and exams directly within the course.
- Web links that send students to the publisher’s website for instructional items, supplemental learning resources, or class lessons.
Although the MDC Online Student Support Center can assist students by providing general information of publisher content in Canvas, many third-party software vendors ask that institutions do not attempt to provide technical support for their products.
