What is the Miami Dade College Apprenticeship Program?

Miami Dade College is the first academic institution in Florida to receive the designation of Program Sponsor by the Florida Department of Education. As a Program Sponsor, MDC is authorized to register occupations, employers and apprentices to participate in Registered Apprenticeship.

The MDC Apprenticeship Program is housed under the Department of Career and Technical Education (CTE). The mission of CTE is to prepare students for career pathways in the seven target industries identified by the Beacon Council.
