Admission Requirements
These admission requirements apply to all track options within the Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.S.) in Public Safety Management program:
- Apply for admission by completing the Miami Dade College application
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.
- Earn an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree, an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree, or complete at least 60 college credit hours, including all General Education requirements required for an A.A. or A.S. degree, from a regionally or nationally accredited institution.
Note: Students interested in the bachelor's program who hold an A.S. degree in an unrelated field are strongly encouraged to consult with a School of Justice (SOJ) Advisor before applying.
