BIOGRAPHY
Oderlyn Gutiez-Bello was born in Havana, Cuba. She began her music studies with piano in 1993 and flute in 1995 at Guillermo Tomas Conservatory of Music with flute professor German Fraga in Cuba. She arrived to the United States in 1998 continuing her music career and obtaining a Bachelor Degree in Music Performance Suma Cum Laude in 2006 from the University of Florida through New World School of the Arts College under the instruction of Professor Lillian Santiago-Caballero. 

Oderlyn has been a winner in several competitions such as the Florida Flute Association Advanced Master class, Miami Dade College’s Women's History Month Celebration Music Competition and Florida Flute Association College Young Artist Competition. She has participated in Master classes with known flutists such as Ramson Wilson, Louis Moyse, Keith Underwood, Renee Siebert and Eugenia Zukerman. 

Ms. Gutiez is also active as an orchestra and chamber music performer in addition to being a flute instructor. She manages and performs with her music services company, Elegant Musicians, LLC., performs with the Miami Wind Symphony and teaches at Miami Dade College and Miami Conservatory of Music. She recorded a CD of Latin boleros as a member of the Nostalgic Ensemble of Miami in 2009. Oderlyn graduated in 2009 with a Master in Music Performance from Lynn University, Boca Raton, FL, under the instruction of the New York Philharmonic flutist Renee Siebert.
