Nelnet Payment Plan (Per Term Enrollment Fee)
The Nelnet Payment Plan is available to students who need an option for paying course and tuition fees/credit unit fees not covered by Financial Aid and/or other sources. There is a $40 per semester non-refundable sign-up fee for using the Nelnet Payment Plan. View our most frequently asked questions.

- Select the “My Account” link below the Finance Section
- Select “Charges Due/ePay” tab
- Check the “Pay” checkbox
- Select “Nelnet” as your payment method
- Select the “Continue” button

- Click on charges due/epay
- Click on Nelnet
Maximum Amount to Budget
The maximum amount you may budget is $4500, any amount over this will be added to your down payment.
My Payment Plan
My Payment Plan enables you to view the current status of your payment plan, account balance, payment amount, and manage your account. Once you complete your payment plan go to https://mycollegepaymentplan.com/mdc/ to set up your account.
Fall 2024
Payment plan available on May 23, 2023 and payments are processed on the 25th of each month.

- Miami Dade College will receive Nelnet Payments twice per semester, below are the consecutive dates:
- Non-guaranteed funds will be applied to student accounts on Sept 13, 2024
- Guaranteed funds will be applied to student accounts on Nov 4th, 2024
- Any out-of-pocket payments (including Nelnet Payment Plan) that are eligible for a refund will be applied to any outstanding balance before refunding to student
- Miami Dade College will send Nelnet excess funds directly to students through BankMobile Disbursements, a technology solution, powered by BMTX, Inc. In addition, refunds will be processed on regularly scheduled dates.
Fall Mini 2024
Payment plan available on Sept 6th, 2024, and payments are processed on the 25th of each month.
