Syed Abbas is the Enterprise Architect for Miami-Dade County’s Communications, Information & Technology Department (CITD), where he leads enterprise architecture strategy, innovation, and policy development. He established the County’s internal Design Sprint function to accelerate MVP development and foster agile, cross-departmental collaboration. His work has helped embed rapid experimentation and scalable design into the County’s digital transformation efforts.

Syed also plays a key role in shaping AI policy and data governance frameworks that guide responsible technology adoption across the enterprise. He holds an MBA from Northwestern University and maintains active certifications as a Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Data Scientist Associate, Azure Data Engineer Associate, and TOGAF Certified Enterprise Architect.
