AI4ALL

The School of Engineering and Technology partnered with AI4ALL College Pathways initiative to introduce and prepare students for careers in the burgeoning Artificial Intelligence (AI) industry.

AI4ALL College Pathways is an initiative designed to spark interest and increase persistence in AI-related careers for undergraduate students who represent new voices in AI. The program connects participants with an approachable introduction to AI, internships, career-readiness resources, and a supportive on-campus peer community.

College pathway programs

Discover AI course:

Discover AI is a free virtual course that offers a hands-on introduction to artificial intelligence, ethical issues surrounding AI implementation, and AI tech careers. The non-credit course consists of 10-week commitment of about 20 hours overall for the program.

The program is open to all MDC students and is designed to accommodate anyone with or without prior computer science or AI experience. At the end of the program, participants receive an AI4ALL Discover AI certificate of completion.

Who should participate on these programs?

Anyone with an interest in AI. No previous experience is required.
